Brix Scale = number of grams of cane sugar dissolved in 100ml of distilled water.
Brix Refractometers are primarily used in determining percent Brix (sugar) content of fruits, beverages, wines, jams, jellies, syrups, honey, and will also determine the maturity of fresh fruits.
