"TRUE-TEMP" thermometers come in several ranges to monitor the critical temperature in Ultra-low freezers, refrigerators, freezers, Blood Bank Refrigerators, ovens and incubators. Each one is mounted in a square shaped shatter proof plastic bottle filled with a liquid to insure accurate readings despite the opening and closing of the instrument doors.

The thermometers have engraved stems, and are thoroughly annealed for lasting accuracy. Each one has its own unique serial number, and has been tested against a standard calibrated at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). A certificate of accuracy is supplied with the thermometer making its indications traceable to NIST.

The thermometers are manufactured with both mercury and organic liquid. The thermometers are also coated with Teflon, which absorbs shock, and will contain all the glass and liquid within the Teflon jacket should breakage occur.

VelcroŽ is affixed to the bottle, permitting the thermometer to be attached to the wall or door of the instrument, reducing space and breakage problems.
